Chongqing is rich in animal and plant resources. It is one of the important producing areas of traditional Chinese medicine in China. Wild and artificially cultivated traditional Chinese medicine grows in large mountainous areas. The output of Coptis chinensis in Shizhu County ranks first in China, and it is the famous “hometown of Coptis chinensis”.
Chongqing Bayu culture is one of the most distinctive national cultures in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
